If you own an older car, ever think, “I wish my ride had one of those hook-ups on the steering wheel to control your audio system?”

Chances are, the idea hits you at a time like when you’re on the freeway and want to skip to the next track on your iPod or CD player.

Yeah, if you’re driving a new car with all of the extras, your car probably already comes equipped with a built-in control system on the steering wheel.  Most of the later model cars (especially the luxury automobiles) already come with the remote control system.

But others have to reach down to manually change the radio if they want to forward to the next song. So, you had to figure that there’d be a couple of companies that would come up with an option to fill the niche.

One of the latest models comes from Pioneer.

In addition to adjusting the volume and changing songs, the remote control enables you to control your navigation system and has Bluetooth functionality. The system also allows you to pick up and hang up with the touch of the remote.
