Former Detroit Lion and Super Bowl champion Lomas Brown will be among the community partners celebrating Community Apple Days — A Health, Wellness and Career Fair. The community-wide open house will take place at WSU’s Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (EACPHS) from noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Community Apple Days will offer free blood sugar testing, flu vaccinations, and diabetes education, a student-run healthy fun zone, admissions information session, a distracted driving simulator, healthy snacks and so much more. Researchers and EACPHS representatives will be on hand to answer any questions about career options and the college. There will also be hands-on workshops, games and raffles.

The event is free and open to the public.
