Lupita Nyong’o has grabbed our edges again! Our latest style icon’s batch of ads for the makeup brand Lancome for Paris Match Magazine has her looking absolutely stunning! That dress though!? Lupita is rocking a hot shade of red on her lips, which fits perfectly into Lancome’s new collection, L’Absolu Rouge. According to E!, the line features lipsticks in distinct, rose-inspired shades, along with skin-nourishing foundations. “Makeup, for me, is like the frame of an art piece. Wearing lipstick makes me feel well-dressed,” Lupita shared with E!, adding that her shade of choice from the collection is Rouge Carrousel (a bright, true red).

Although we should already know why, Lupita was chosen for this Lancome campaign because:

“Lupita is an outstanding example of a natural beauty; confident and simply true to herself. She has this special kind of aura both enlightening and deep making her by essence the Lancôme woman, to whom happiness is the most attractive form of beauty”-Lancome statement

Photographed by Alexi Lubomirski, and standing next to the floor-length windows of the Penthouse Suite at Intercontinental Times Square, Nyong’o was primed for perfection. She donned an edgy cherry red chiffon dress. (Please tell us who made this dress because we need it in every color this summer!) It seems that Lupita was given the Beyonce treatment with a diva fan because her dress was giving the Marilyn Monroe Seven Year Itch effect, taking the look from gorgeous to yasssss!

And then in another photo where she sways her arm downward and the side of her dress just swoops…LORDT!
