Now that New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony is in the off-season, he’s using his time to focus on other ventures. After making an appearance in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel, Anthony recently inked a deal with Nickelodeon to become the creative director of a Ninja Turtles product line. The line, which will be called Turtles by Melo, will feature everything from video games to home furnishings. “I am so excited about the opportunity to work with the Nickelodeon team on this new Turtles venture,” said Anthony. “The Turtles were such a huge part of my childhood, so to now be partnering with Nickelodeon on ‘Turtles by Melo’ is honestly something I never could have imagined. Rev. Run and Tyrese to Host New Relationship Show

Rapper-turned-preacher Rev. Run will team up with singer Tyrese Gibson for a new primetime talk show that will explore dating and relationships from a man’s perspective. The show, which stems from the book they co-authored called Manology: Secrets of Your Man’s Mind Revealed, will be featured on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network. “When Rev Run, Tyrese and CBS came to us with the idea of a primetime series we were energized by the chance to bring OWN viewers something fresh and entertainingly real in the ‘love space,’” said OWN President Sheri Salata. “We can’t wait to turn them loose – enlightening us all about what makes men tick.” Read more.


Glory Johnson Plans to Keep Child

WNBA stars Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson’s tumultuous relationship has been making headlines over the past few weeks. After going through a domestic violence fiasco, getting married, and then getting a divorce, Johnson shared that she has decided to keep her baby. “I am truly really saddened by the recent turn of events and was not expecting to have our marriage end so abruptly,” wrote Johnson. “I am ready to begin focusing on my health, pregnancy and am going to remain in Tulsa to continue to build my relationship with the Tulsa Shock organization, and my teammates. I appreciate the support of my fans, family and loved ones and look forward to returning to the basketball court as soon as I can.” Read more.
