There seems to be some beef brewing between Vic Mensa and Chance The Rapper. But if you let Vic tell it, there won’t be an issue simply because “n*ggas don’t want that type of problem” with him.

About a week ago, a photo of the rapper and singer/songwriter bringing in his 23rd birthday alongside Beyoncé, Jay Z, and Chance started floating around social media for obvious reasons. Things went left shortly after, as Vic reposted the photo but blacked out Chance’s entire existence. He’s since deleted the jab, but you can see a screenshot below.

After raising eyebrows with the revised photo, Vic hit up Power 106 with a diss many assumed was aimed at his old pal. In a freestyle on the radio station, he rapped:

“Why these n*ggas so fake? They so fake, So fake! / Beef I’ll turn it into Burger King / Just have it your way. I might have to call Miss Info / Let her get a little info / About some n*ggas I used to be cool with.”

He also dropped an L.A. Leakers freestyle that raised eyebrows. Listen here.

Whatever the issue is, Vic doesn’t appear ready to talk about it. He will give us a few clues though. In his most recent radio station appearance, he made light of the situation and assured fans he doesn’t have beef with anyone. He told Real 92.3 in part:

“I don’t do my people dirty. I just don’t do it. So, if somebody was wanting to beef with me, they wouldn’t really have all that much ammo.”
