Glenn McIntosh, Interim Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, Oakland University
Glenn McIntosh, M.A., L.P.C, is interim vice president for student affairs and enrollment management at Oakland University. He is a member of the President’s Cabinet and oversees the development and daily operations of all student recruitment and retention support services and facilities. Prior to this appointment he served as assistant vice president for student affairs and dean of student life. He founded the national award winning Trustee Academic Success Scholarship Program.
An inspirational leader on campus and in the community, McIntosh assists youth and adults with a wide variety of academic, behavioral, emotional, financial and family-related challenges. In his motivational book, “It’s Time to Bring Your ‘A’ Game,” he reminds readers that they have the power to achieve their dreams.
An avid bodybuilder and former Mr. Michigan, McIntosh is active in a number of community organizations, including the American Heart Association, Next Generation Fit Kids, Success Mile Academy, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and the Little Rock Baptist Church Christian Education Board.
A Detroit native, McIntosh graduated from Western High School, and earned his bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University and his master’s degree from Wayne State University. He is also a licensed professional counselor.
