This year’s festival will showcase over 40 films, from 14 different countries and will take place August 1-2, 2014 at The Carr Center, in Detroit ( 311 E. Grand River, Detroit, Michigan 48226). “We have a variety of feature and short films for people to enjoy, everything from action, drama, animation, and comedy, we definitely have movies that will capture your attention,” says festival co-director, Marshalle Montgomery. The TI Film Festival has become Detroit’s signature event for independent filmmakers worldwide to showcase their movies. Our vision is “To provide a multicultural festival experience through screenings of culturally diverse independent films” says festival co-director, Gregory Taylor. The festival will also host a special screening for youth, that will be free an open to the public, onSaturday, August 2nd, from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Detroit is home to many talented filmmakers, and Trinity International Film Festival will highlight some of the work of our very own local Directors including: Ashley Kay Evans, Mida Chu, Anthony Green, Darren Brown, Walter V. Marshall, Carlonese Powell and Gregory Dockery, II and Producer, Raymond Rolak.
