North Korea referred to President Obama as “a monkey” in response to what they believe was his orders to shut down the country’s Internet after they were identified as hacking into Sony Emails and publishing them.

North Korea has remained steadfast in their denials in orchestrating the crippling cyberattack on Sony Pictures the exposed highly-embarrassing private emails of the studio’s executives. The Communist country allegedly infiltrated Sony’s emails out of revenge for the movie “The Interview” where the comedy depicts an assassination of its leader Kim Jong Un.

After Sony Pictures initially capitulated to threats of terror attacks against Americans who would go see the film. But after Obama roundly criticized Sony’s decision, the studio reversed its decision and opened the film this past week.

North’s powerful National Defense Commission, the country’s top governing body led by Kim, said that Obama was behind the release of “The Interview.”

“Obama always goes reckless in words and deeds like a monkey in a tropical forest,” an unidentified spokesman at the commission’s Policy Department said in a statement carried by the official Korean Central News Agency.

No word yet if Obama will respond to the dictator’s disparaging dismissal of the president or if the government is culpable in shutting down North Korea’s Internet.
