With the Detroit Riverfront as a backdrop, 100+ attendees joined Rémy Martin Thursday night in recognizing a trio of esteemed Detroit entrepreneurs at the Rémy Martin Circle of Centaurs reception in downtown Detroit.
Circle of Centaurs is a nationwide mentorship program recognizing leaders across the nation for their invaluable contributions to their local communities. Hosted by legendary designer and visionary Jeff Staple, honorees included:
Margarita Barry — entrepreneur / founder of I Am Young Detroit
Sebastian Jackson — founder of the Social Club Grooming Company
Jay Rayford — a social entrepreneur and founder of Social Sushi and Rep Your City
Barry, Jackson & Rayford were recognized for their leadership and devotion to fostering opportunities for their own businesses as well as for others.
Through the Rémy Martin Circle of Centaurs, each honoree is sharing their knowledge by mentoring an up-&-coming member of their local community. In addition, Rémy Martin offered each honoree and mentee a grant of $2,500 and $1,500 respectively to bestow upon a charitable organization of their choice.
