Shaun Wilson, who has led public relations and marketing efforts for PNC Financial Services Group and other Southeast Michigan companies, is the new senior vice president at Truscott Rossman.
Wilson will head the firm’s expanding Detroit office, which now includes five employees and serves a growing client list including DTE Energy, the Detroit Medical Center and the City of Detroit.

Wilson most recently was vice president, director of client and community relations, for PNC, where he managed marketing and branding initiatives. Previously he was vice president, marketing manager for National City Bank.
He also was managing partner of Wilson PR, a joint-venture strategic public relations and marketing firm representing top Detroit-area companies and organizations. Before that he held the positon of vice president at John Bailey & Associates Public Relations.
Wilson also managed publicity and event panning for high-profile Detroit North American International Auto Show events.
He is a state-appointed board member of the Michigan Economic Development Corp. Strategic Fund, and also a trustee/board member for the Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts, Detroit Parent Network, Voices for Michigan’s Children, Mariner’s Inn, Cranbrook Institute of Science, and the Sphinx Organization.
He has a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Wayne State University, and served eight years in the U.S. Marines.
