images_small-business-owner1NEIdeas is a program that celebrates existing businesses in Detroit, Hamtramck and Highland Park – rewarding those with the best ideas for growth. The organization operates on the premise that one great idea can help a good business grow.
NEIdeas is providing $500,000 in cash awards to over 30 existing businesses in 2015 through its $10k Challenge and $100k Challenge programs. The $10k Challenge is now closed and the $100k Challenge is underway.
The $100k Challenge is for existing businesses that gross over $750,000 and under $5-million annually and have plans to grow ‘big’.  The deadline for the initial 400 word application is June 25 at 11:59 pm.
