images_cass_tech(1)The Cass Tech Alumni Association  presents the kick-off weekend to celebrate 100 years of the organizations’ efforts supporting the students at Cass Technical High School in obtaining a quality, comprehensive education. Through the volunteer efforts and financial donations of alumni worldwide and partnerships with the community, the CTAA strives to give today’s students the same life impacting experience Cass Tech students had in years past and will continue for years to come. Proceeds from the celebration weekend funds Cass Tech student programs and scholarships supported the CTAA (501(c)(3) organization).

Cass Technical High School has a long list of distinguished alumni including Diana Ross, Donald Byrd, Lily Tomlin, Regina Carter, J. Moss, Ellen Burstyn, Geri Allen, Ron Carter, David Alan Grier, Big Sean, Kenya Moore, Carole Gist and many others. Cass Technical High School has the highest percentage of college graduates (98%), and offers more programs than any other high school in the state of Michigan. Cass Tech is the first high school in the city of Detroit to become an International Baccalaureate World School. Cass Tech is also, the five-time recipient of the Steve Harvey, Best High School Award.
