Tank is kicking off his 2016 with revisiting his 2007 “Sex, Love and Pain” album with the introduction of the sequel album “Sex, Love and Pain II.”
It has been ten years since the originally titled album dropped and Tank has evolved as an artist to show that even though he’s the king of “Baby Come Back” crooning, he is the true thug lover of every d-girl dreams.Led by the chart-topping single, “You Don’t Know” featuring Wale, Tank eases us into the struggle of a man who loves his woman, however, battles to connect with her because all she notices are the trivial things.

From “You Don’t Know” to “She wit the S***” featuring Rich Homie Quan, Tank shows us how auto-tune should sound when you actually can sing and Rich Homie Quan gives the right balance of trap-rap to make us feel it roll.
Other collabs include additional features from Chris Brown, Yo Gotti, Sage the Gemini, Siya, and Boyz II Men’s Shawn Stockman on the smooth R&B duet “Already In Love.”
However, no Tank album would be complete without the depth of the singer’s belting apologies in “So Cold”, regret in “Better For You” and leaving women everywhere in a puddle of desire with “F***ing With Me.”
2015 introduced the new genre of TrapRoll (songs with R&B melodic hip-rolling beats, outlined by trap-rap) and with Tank’s newest album, it has earned him a place in my “Trap-Roll” Hall of Fame.
