The 58th GRAMMY Awards - Arrivals

Future, the rapper, is having a rough go of it. Desiigner, about as close a clone to Future as science will allow, and his song “Panda,” which most still can’t believe isn’t Future, charted higher than any other Future song to date. Ciara, the mother of Future’s child, was recently engaged to Russell Wilson, the quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. A small thing but for the fact Future frequently discussed getting Ciara back with lines like “I’ma get my b*tch back” on the 2015 smash “Jumpman.” Ciara actually shared the news of the engagement via social media, sporting a diamond the size of the Rock of Gibraltar. That may or may not be an exaggeration.

Today, Ciara and Ludacris were announcing the names for “top rap artist” for the Billboard Music Awards. Future is listed in this category. Future hasn’t been too kind in his remarks regarding Ciara, so she figured she’d return the favor…by not mentioning him at all.

Well that was… Awkward. #BBMA

Some might view this as petty but as the saying goes, if you can’t say something nice then don’t say anything at all.
