For Marie Claire’s third annual “Fresh Faces” issue, the 18-year-old reality star poses in toned-down glam. Inside the issue, Kylie opens up about her massive social media following and also claims she “started” wigs. Huh?
On her ability to influence others and have fun with it: “I started wigs, and now everyone is wearing wigs. Kim [Kardashian] just used my wig guy last night…I just do whatever I want to do, and people will follow.”
On posting photos on social media: “When I post sexy photos, I always regret it. Like, Oh my God, everyone is seeing my body. I get really weird about it.”
The “Fresh Faces” issue is aimed to highlight up-and-coming talents, so it’s only right that Zendaya also graces a cover of her own. She discusses her rumored relationship with Odell Beckham, Jr. and that mullet she rocked to the Grammys.
On going to the Grammys after-party with her dad and New York Giant, Odell Beckham Jr.: “If a guy can handle my dad the first time, then he’s worth giving my time to. If he can’t, then I might as well not waste my time. Just because they’re in the NFL doesn’t mean they get a pass.”
On not worrying about what other people think: “I wore a freaking mullet to the Grammys. I felt like I was killing it. And I was. That’s all that should matter when you step out.”
On dating Justin Bieber: “I don’t want attention out of dating somebody. Texts started coming through, crazy phone calls…it’s hard to date somebody in this industry. You have to have really thick skin and be very strong. You have to focus on the person and nothing else.”
