BET's '106 & Park' Racial Profiling Discussion

David Banner is not here for the shady news reporting.

After the rapper got into a war of words earlier this week with a bouncer at Ozio Restaurant & Lounge in Washington, D.C., rumors spread that he was handcuffed and placed under immediate arrest. Banner took to social media to express his disdain for the way that the media sensationalized the story before having all of the facts.

He started off addressing Black media, demanding that they stop sharing stories that they don’t have all of the facts about:

Especially when it is incorrect information. Do you care about the truth? Think about it before you report. Are you really Hiphop? Or pawns.

Following the incident at the lounge, Banner was ultimately given a ticket.
