The rapper announced on Sunday that just three months after Young’s public cheating scandal, she and the NBA star are done for good this time. Azalea took to Instagram to share the emotional news with the world, writing, “Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried to rebuild my trust in him – It’s become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to. I genuinely wish Nick the best.”
She added, “it’s never easy to part ways with the person you planned you’re [sic] entire future with.”
Nick Young confirmed the news and proved that men and women communicate differently by posting his feelings about the breakup, summed up in one word:
Since the video was leaked online of Nick allegedly telling his Lakers teammate D’Angelo Russell that he’d been unfaithful with a teenager back in March, Iggy and Nick have been attempting to keep their romance alive. But trust wasn’t enough to keep them together, since the pair even pushed their wedding after the video leaked.
Iggy and Nick became engaged last year after getting together in 2014.
Speaking of D’Angelo Russell, the Lakers star got a chance to poke fun at the Nick Young incident in a new Foot Locker commercial starring Ben Simmons, Karl-Anthony Towns and Devin Booker.
