“It’s an amazing feeling. I started my acting career about 2-3 years ago, so to have [an Emmy] under my belt and to be a part of a production and a cast that’s so great is a great feeling. It motivates me and pushes me more to work harder and do better.”
On receiving credit for working as hard as she does:
“Yeah, I think people are starting to see me for me and who I am, as opposed to social media and all the BS and extra stuff. The more I keep working, the more that’ll all be exed out.”
On being distracted by haters:
“Sometimes [it could be distracting]. But I think I’ve gotten to a point where I don’t let it faze me. It’s kind of just like ‘people are going to say what they want’ or just do whatever they want. So y’all can say whatever y’all wanna say, I don’t care.”
