criminalThe Honorable Judge Deborah Thomas will be facilitating a “Criminal Expungement and Federal Pardons Program” with Attorney Robyn L. McCoy and Attorney Saundra White on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Brown Chapel AME Church located at 1043 W. Michigan, Ypsilanti, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.   This event is free and open to the public.   Judge Thomas and Detroit City Council President Brenda Jones previously held a Job and Career Fair and Expungement and Pardon Seminar Event on Saturday, March 19 at the AFSCME Detroit Office on 600 West Lafayette.   Judge Thomas, Attorney Robyn L. McCoy and Attorney Saundra White spoke to a packed audience about the “Expungement and Federal Pardon Process.”  The trio are committed to helping people gain the knowledge to clear up their records.

Judge Deborah Thomas has recently launched the Citizen Education Law Clinic, which is committed to educating citizens about a varying range of legal topics from Expungements to Human Trafficking to the Veteran Treatment Courts.  Anyone interested in inviting Judge Thomas or other legal experts to speak at an event should go to the following website at:  www.citizenlawclinic.org.
