Tamar Braxton had champagne wishes, and she made them come true. The reality starlet spoke to People abut her Calabasas, California estate and revealed her favorite room in the entire house is a full-on champagne bar she had custom built to indulge her favorite habit.
“Champagne is every girl’s dream,” Braxton told People. “I just wanted to live out a fantasy. How many times do you get the chance to build a champagne bar?”
Braxton said that the room was inspired by The Dorchester hotel in London. “What I loved about their bar is it felt like a living room, so I wanted to turn my bar into a living room slash bar, where it’s comfortable,” she explained. “It gives me that same old tavern, homey, comfy feel. But it feels expensive.”
Her husband, who was at first apprehensive about the room, grew to love it. “It’s his favorite room to go into,” she said. “He watches all of his games on that television. It’s just so inviting.”
She added, that even she was surprised by how much she loves the room. “I thought it was just [going to be] for show,” she says. “But I think because we use our home so much, nothing is off limits.”
