Supporting Detroiters has been the goal of Fifth Third Bank for over a decade. “For a dozen years, we’ve reached out to the neighborhoods in Southeastern Michigan with this full size 40 foot self contained resource center that promotes financial awareness through programming for everyone,” said Fifth Third Senior Vice President and Group Sales Manager Don Precour.

The Michigan Chronicle, with the support of Fifth Third Bank, has launched a new initiative, Rediscover Detroit, a series of articles and video vignettes highlighting hidden gem communities such as East English Village, Green Acres, the Schultz community and many more communities throughout the city. “Detroit is littered with wonderful neighborhoods, hidden gems throughout the community,” said Michigan Chronicle Publisher Hiram E. Jackson.

Throughout the years, the support for the eBus tour has experienced tremendous growth. This year, Fifth Third is proud to have the support of nearly 40 community partners. DTE, Project Healthy Living, U-SNAP- BAC, Hurley Hospital, Southwest Solutions and a host of additional community partners, will be present at the scheduled tour stops to offer information and resources to meet basic service needs of residents.
