PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Fort Street Presbyterian Church seeks a Director for its Open Door program to direct, supervise and coordinate the operations, programs, funding, communications/public relations, donations, administration and management of this program. This is a 40-hour per week position;, annual salary $50,000 w/benefits that reports to the Pastor/Head of Staff and Personnel Committee. Since 1967, Open Door has worked to relieve the suffering of our community members who have little access to many of life’s most basic necessities, most notably our weekly meal service and clothing closets. The program seeks to be a cohesive agent that binds our congregants and community together regardless of age, ethnicity or economic status. Open Door is not only an on-site mission, but a catalyst for further efforts to bring together our city’s divided communities. We hope to find a Director who can build and strengthen the relationships that make the program work, including the Fort Street Presbyterian Church community and other churches that provide financial support, donations and volunteers; with volunteers; with guests who receive services; and with partner organizations and service providers.
